Sir Mix-a-Lot

Anthony (Sir Mix-a-Lot) and I are friends and we hang around with a group of car, or I should say machine enthusiasts. (We'll drool over a lawn tractor.)  We'd talked about the video over the course of a year.  Then one Tuesday night, friends were over when Anthony called and asked if he thought if it was realistic to shoot the video on that Saturday.

I asked him to send me the lyrics and the list of cars and I'd see what we could dig up. That night we made a list of the cars he needed. I think it was around 35 or 40 cars and we started assigning names to friends who had them. We started an old fashioned phone tree and sat around making calls. We had almost every one by the time we shot the video, including finding an airport we could rent for a few hours for the shoot.

That's me in the beginning of the shoot and I've got two cars in the video. The car community is made up of some of the best and brightest people I've ever met. The whole experience was a lot of fun and a lifetime memory for all of us.
